Tūī Team

Welcome to the Tūī Team at Orewa Beach School. Year 3 is such a fun and important year, where children continue to build confidence, independence, and strong learning habits.

In Tūī Team, we work hard to create classrooms where children feel happy, supported, and encouraged to challenge themselves. We focus on building strong foundations in literacy and mathematics, while also helping children grow socially, develop resilience, and become kind, confident members of our school community.

We love creating engaging learning experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and connection to the world around us. Throughout the year, children are involved in a range of opportunities, including topic learning, specialist programmes, sports, the arts, EOTC experiences, and whole school events.

We value strong partnerships between home and school and believe children thrive when we work together. Tūī Team is a place where children are encouraged to give things a go, celebrate success, and enjoy learning.
